Gravis didn't ease its way into the market. Built by Burton Snowboards, it arrived as one of the first true urban hybrid footwear brands, carving out cultural territory before most competitors even understood the space. But fashion moves fast, and Gravis had lost its edge, its clarity, and its connection to the buyers and community that once believed in it.
Bulldog Drummond, with me leading the creative vision, won the account from Burton and brought a full brand refresh with us. The challenge wasn't reinvention for its own sake. It was excavation, finding what made Gravis credible in the first place and building a contemporary brand language around that core. We reconnected the brand with its DNA, elevated the identity to carry a genuine global sensibility, and reestablished its standing with buyers and distributors through new styles and applications that felt both grounded and forward.
The result was a brand relaunch built to last beyond a single season, a new visual and strategic foundation that gave Gravis something it had lost: a reason to be taken seriously again.
