Built by Burton Snowboards, Gravis was an icon in the first generation of urban and hybrid streetwear footwear. As the pace of fashion accelerated, Gravis needed to reestablish its relevance in the marketplace with a fresh take on the brand. I worked with an invigorated Gravis team to reconnect with buyers and distributors by reinforcing the brand's DNA. Gravis returned to its core, showcasing new styles and applications while doing what it did best: translating urban culture into fresh innovation. We elevated the identity to embody a global sensibility, laying the groundwork for a new brand language built to carry across future seasons.
